Dressed up in traditional costumes, over 10,000 people of the Miao ethnic group attended a parade on May 2 to celebrate the Miao Sisters Festival in Taijiang County, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, southwest China's Guizhou Province.

Regarded as the oldest celebrated "Valentine's Day" in Asia, the Miao Sisters Festival was listed in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage in 2006.
